136bpm 2 bars of basic electro beat with kick, quiet drone and a sharp 808 snappy snare.

Very bass harmonics for kick (to be played in parallel) and at lower volume for snare and tom bass harmonics. It was created by filtering a 60 hz sine wave (remove all the high frequencies but also the extreme low).

This started out as a basic kick drum pattern i was experimenting with in ableton, and then devolved into me applying an obscene amount of delay, echo, reverb, compression, and filtering. And now it sounds vaguely like a helicopter :).

Low tom or kick sound. The reverb is actually filtered noise. 44100 16 bit mono made with microtonic drumsynth.

All this time i´ve been doing a ton of drum samples from almost every edm subgenre, so, i took a transient from a house club kick and a sub bass i made by miself, compressed the hell out of them, distorted the sub bass and added the special sauce, the izotope ozone 8 to make a cool jungle terror kick. Note: you can expect from now seeing drum sampples in this page!!!.

This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. Recorded at a music store in brazil, along with other kicks and snares, using audio technica at2020 condenser, alesis io4 interface and edited by me using the daw reaper. The sample is highly processed, with comp and eq, and have no resemblance with the original sound source. However, it adds a very cool punch and tone, perfect for music styles like rock and metal.

Time to give something back here. Hope it's useful. Mix out of a soft synth kick punched up and up, by adding gated attack kick. Compressed and limited, maximal appereance of the kick by giving enough space for other instruments. Also can handle a subbass (+/- sidechaincomp) easily , because of the depth.
